February is not only Valentines Day but also American Heart Month! Please remember to eat healthy so that you are able to share your heart with that special someone!

Annual Meeting

As a reminder, the Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tesoro Clubhouse. If you are unable to attend please mail in your ballot so the Association can reach quorum.

Property Management Professionals would like to remind you our offices will be closed on December 23rd and will remain closed until January 3rd. However, all of our employees will be available via telephone and email should you have an emergency.

Guest Parking Signs

As a reminder, the parking spots throughout the community are reserved for guests only. The Board recently approved the installation of "Guest Parking Only" signs to serve as an additional reminder to residents parking in the guest spots.

Recent Enhancements

The Board of Directors recently approved a proposal to install bark and several drought tollerant plants along Duke Drive. There were also landscaping enhancements on Hatari and Alamo.

Parking

No parking in guest parking. All parking stalls throughout the community are reserved for guests and should not be utilized by homeowners. Violators will be towed.

Corner Lot Yard Landscaping

In additional to maintaining your front yard landscaping, homeowner’s located on corner lots are required to maintain the strip of landscaping between their side yard property line and the community right of way. If you are unsure of your maintenance responsibilities, please contact your property manager for further clarification.

Parking Warning

There continue to be reports of unauthorized vehicles, vehicles parked for long periods of time and vehicles parked in fire lanes or no parking zones. Parking violators are subject to immediate tow. Violators can be reported to Property Management Professionals or the LA County Sheriff at http://www.scvsheriff.com/crimetips.asap. Please be advised that they will tow!!

Landscaping

Duke Drive Landscaping- The Board recently approved a proposal to have Gothic remove the weeds and debris along Duke Drive. The work has been complete and the community is looking great!!!

SLOW DOWN

With summer vacation in full swing several children are playing outside in the streets. Please be careful while driving through the community!

PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET!

Please pick up after your pet! The Association has been receiving numerous complaints about homeowners not cleaning up after their pets. Pursuant to LA County Civil Code and the Association’s CC&R’s, it is illegal to not pick up pet feces from public or association property. Homeowners have been instructed to report violators to Property Management Professionals and the appropriate authorities.

NEW BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE

The Canterbury at Tesoro del Valle Board of Director's meetings will be held every other month starting in August 2010. Board meetings will be held at the Tesoro del Valle clubhouse starting at 7:30 PM unless otherwise noticed.
