Annual Meeting and Election Results

As many of you are aware, last night was the Canterbury at Tesoro Annual Meeting and Election. Unfortunately, attendance was disappointing and the 25% required for quorum was not met. The Board of Directors will discuss how to proceed, but in the mean time the current board members up for re-election will remain on the board.
We will keep you posted regarding the board's decision.

Community Volunteer Day A Success!!!

Thank you everyone for attending the Canterbury at Tesoro 1st Annual Volunteer Day! I am happy to report that because of all of the volunteers who showed up to volunteer their time that the event was a great success!! August Board Meeting

The August Homeowners Association Board Meeting will be held on August 5, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at the Tesoro Clubhouse. Homeowners are encouraged to attend and be an active member the community!! If you have any questions or you are unable to attend and would like an issue addressed please contact Property Management Professionals.

The next Board of Directors Meeting will be held June 3rd at 6:30 in the recreation center. We encourage everyone to attend!!

From the Master Association

Please call the Santa Clarita Sheriff's office 661-255-1121 or 911 24/7 whenever they see suspicious activity. Don't wait until they know a crime has been committed. You can also call Lantz Security Dispatch 661-949-3565. Lantz patrols Tesoro from 10 am to 4 pm 7 days a week. Lantz can take an incident report that allows us to see where our security resources should be best deployed.

It should also be noted that both Lantz and the Sheriff's Dept. have vacation watches. People can call the same numbers to add their homes to the vacation watch list.

Pet Maintenance

During our recent walk though your community many homeowners expressed concern of other people’s dogs defecating in their yards. If walking a dog throughout the community please make sure it is on a leash and that you pick up after it. According to the LA County Civil Code Section 10.40.060 it is illegal to let a dog defecate on property other than your own without picking it up.

Posting Instructions

We encourage you to as homeowners to post on your Community Blog. Since the process can be a bit confusing if you aren't used to blogging , we have supplied step by step instructions below.
1. Click on the "comment" section of an existing post. A text window should come up.
2. Type your comment.
3. Select your profile from one of the profiles provided for you.
4. You will be asked to enter your user name and password for your profile. (setting up your profile is a 1 time event)
5. Once signed into your profile you are ready to post your comment.
6. Post your comment by clicking the "post" button.

Homeowner Questionares

Please don't forget that Brad Watson, your new community manager, will be walking around the community on Saturday February 28th collecting the questionares that were mailed out. Brad is hoping to meet as many people as possible so please introduce youself when you see him.

The Canterbury Tesoro Community Association Blog has been created to help keep the community homeowners updated on news and events affecting their community.
